Can you think of a time when you became really energized about a thought, idea, project or plan?  Then instead of acting on it you said, “ok so now I’m feeling ready to do it-I’ll start tomorrow.”   Guess what?  The chances that you’ll actually start tomorrow are about as good as you waking up for a Sunday morning 6am spin class.  Motivation is no different than any regular human emotion.  Do emotions constantly sit with us?  No.  Do we fluctuate how we’re feeling within a day, hour or minute?  Yes.  Motivation is a more difficult state to remain in because it requires a great deal of energy.  So when you’re feeling that drive to “do” or “act” seize the moment.  As corny as it sounds you must jump on the motivation train before it passes you by.
